Annapurna Bhandar Application Status Check — Track Online

Applied for the Annapurna Yojana and wondering where your application stands — or whether the Rs. 3,000 reached your account? You can check it yourself on the official portal in a couple of minutes. Here is exactly how.

How to check your application status

  1. Go to socialregistry.wb.gov.in and log in with your registered mobile number and OTP.
  2. Click on "Track Applicant Status".
  3. Enter your Application ID (your Aadhaar number or registered mobile number also works on some screens), complete the captcha, and click Search.

Your current status appears on the screen, along with the head of the family's name, application number, and submission date.

What each status means

  • Approved / Verified — your application cleared verification. The Rs. 3,000 will be credited to your Aadhaar-linked bank account through DBT on the next disbursement cycle.
  • Rejected — the application did not pass verification. The portal does not always show the full reason.
  • Reverted — the application was sent back to you, usually for a correction or a clearer document. Fix what is asked and resubmit.
  • Payment Failure — approved, but the money could not be credited. This is a bank-account problem, not an application problem (more below).

Approved but money not received?

This happens more often than people expect, and the cause is almost always Aadhaar seeding. The Rs. 3,000 goes only to a single-holder, Aadhaar-seeded, active bank account. Check these in order:

  1. Confirm your Aadhaar is actually seeded to the account: visit npci.org.in, open the Aadhaar mapper, enter your Aadhaar number, and see which bank shows as DBT-linked.
  2. If no bank shows up, or the wrong one shows, visit your bank branch and ask them to seed your Aadhaar to the account.
  3. Joint accounts do not work for this scheme — it must be a single-holder account.
  4. After fixing the seeding, take your Application ID and passbook to the BDO / SDO / KMC office so the payment can be re-triggered.

Application rejected — what now?

First, use the portal's Claim and Objection section: log in, choose the section, pick your category, describe the issue, attach supporting documents, and submit. Note down the reference number. If the portal does not show the rejection reason, visit your nearest BDO office (rural), SDO office (urban), or KMC office (Kolkata) carrying your Temporary Application ID — the staff there can tell you the exact reason and whether you can correct and reapply.

Before you check: keep these ready

Have your Application ID (from your acknowledgement slip), the registered mobile number for OTP, and your Aadhaar number handy. And make sure you are on the real portal — keep your documents in order too, since blurry uploads are one of the top reasons applications get reverted.

This is an independent guide, not affiliated with the Government of West Bengal. Never share your OTP, Aadhaar number, or bank details with anyone who calls or messages claiming to be from the scheme office — officials do not ask for these over the phone.
